You will greet customers, provide product information, help with packing, rotating stock, and maintain a clean, safe work area in a fast-paced environment. Weekend/evening shifts may be required.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a meat department or food service preferred but not required.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to handle meat products with care.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Basic knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Flexibility to work in shifts, including weekends, evenings, and holidays as needed.
• Physical stamina to stand for extended periods, lift heavy objects, and perform repetitive tasks.

Responsibilities

• Assist in receiving, inspecting, storing meat shipments according to quality standards.
• Prepare meat by cutting, trimming, and packaging following safety guidelines.
• Greet customers and provide product information and recommendations.
• Inspect products and remove expired items to maintain freshness.
• Monitor meat inventory and assist in counts; rotate stock to reduce waste.
• Maintain clean, safe, and organized work area per health regulations.
