Job summary

Wegmans in Montvale, NJ is hiring for a team member in our meat department. You will educate customers on different types and cuts of meat and help ensure the freshest products are available throughout the day.

You will cut, package, label items, stock shelves and service counters, take orders, and may unload deliveries. We value service, speed, accuracy, and collaboration in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in meat cutting or a similar food-service role.
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 40 pounds.
• Strong customer service and teamwork orientation.

Responsibilities

• Provide incredible service to our customers.
• Keep our shelves and service counter stocked with fresh products.
• Take orders and prepare items for display by cutting, packaging, and labeling products.
• May unload daily deliveries and stock cases, displays and backroom coolers with new and existing products/inventory.
