Job summary

Next Level Refresh Hermitage is seeking a Kitchen Staff member to prepare fresh food items for vending machines and micro markets, while maintaining high standards of quality and safety.

The role requires teamwork, attention to detail, and flexibility to work evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed. This is a full-time position based in Hermitage, PA with comprehensive health, vision, dental, and 401K benefits.

Qualifications

• Previous kitchen or food service experience preferred.
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.
• Basic culinary skills and technique.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Based in Hermitage, PA.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook a variety of fresh food items according to standardized recipes and portion sizes.
• Ensure food products are prepared, stored, and handled safely and in compliance with food safety regulations and company standards.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen work areas, including equipment, utensils, and food storage areas.
• Assist with inventory management, including monitoring ingredient levels, rotating stock, and placing orders as needed.
• Collaborate with the kitchen supervisor and other team members to develop new menu items and recipes.
• Follow all food safety and sanitation procedures, including proper handwashing, temperature control, and hygiene practices.
• Adhere to all health and safety guidelines, including wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) and following proper lifting techniques.
• Assist with other kitchen tasks and duties as assigned by the kitchen supervisor or management.
