Qualifications

• Current Food Handler’s Permit.
• Must enjoy working with and handling food products.
• Ability to interpret policies and procedures.
• Excellent organization and planning skills.
• Must possess solid communication skills, including verbal and listening skills to communicate with customers and fellow associates effectively and efficiently.
• Must possess the ability to accept constructive review and be accountable for one’s own success as well as the success of your team.

Responsibilities

• Follow store policies and procedures.
• Maintain quality and freshness of kitchen products and services.
• Manage product assortment and inventory levels for the kitchen.
• Confirm pricing accuracy and signage, especially ad items.
• Keep kitchen clean and sanitized daily.
• Serve prepared salads and entrees from the chef case.
• Slice meats and cheeses to order.
• Deliver excellent customer service to all customers.
• Package kitchen products and display them on the sales floor.
• Restock kitchen department and sort/put away deliveries.
