Job summary

Harmons Grocery in Salt Lake City is seeking a friendly team member to sell fresh kitchen items and provide remarkable customer service. You will package products, stock shelves, ensure cleanliness, and assist in other kitchen areas as needed.

The role requires current Food Handler’s Permit, strong communication, organizational skills, and a willingness to work weekends, evenings, and holidays. You will interact daily with customers and fellow associates to keep the kitchen running smoothly.

Responsibilities

• Follows established departmental and store policies and procedures.
• Ensures the quality and freshness of all products and services the kitchen provides.
• Responsible for maintaining the appropriate product assortment and inventory levels for the kitchen.
• Confirms pricing accuracy and signage for all products, paying particular attention to ad items.
• Ensures the kitchen is cleaned and sanitized daily and meets the company standards for appearance.
• Serves chef prepared salads and entrees from the chef case.
• Slices meats and cheeses to order.
• Delivers excellent customer service to all customers.
• Packages kitchen products and puts them out on the sales floor.
• Re-stocks the kitchen department and helps sort and put away kitchen products when deliveries come in.
• Assists as needed throughout the kitchen department.

$15.00 - $18.85 PER HOUR

The purpose of this position is to sell Harmons’ fresh kitchen items by providing remarkable customer service. This person will package product, fill shelves, stock the kitchen department, ensure cleanliness of the department, assist in other areas of the kitchen as needed, and provide exceptional customer service.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Follows established departmental and store policies and procedures
