WinCo Foods in Phoenix is seeking a Friendly Fresh Foods Associate to assist customers, help with deli/seafood/pizza prep, and keep the department stocked and welcoming. You will operate rotisserie ovens, prepare ready-to-bake pizzas, receive inventory, and uphold food safety standards.

The role emphasizes friendly customer service, teamwork, and the ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 50 lbs, and work varied shifts.

Qualifications

• Ability to work varied shifts in a 24/7 operation; including night, weekends and holidays.
• Communicate effectively with customers to receive orders and perform customer relation skills.
• Conduct visual inspections, read and follow production guides, recipes and product labels.

Responsibilities

• Welcomes, engages, and serves customers with a friendly, enthusiastic attitude.
• Takes orders, answers questions, and performs suggestive selling.
• Prepares, stocks, displays, rotates product in fresh food areas (Deli/Seafood/Pizza).
• Prepares production items according to recipes and safety procedures.
• Handles refrigerated goods and inspects product quality and freshness.
• Maintains department cleanliness and equipment, including fryers and ovens.
• Receives inventory, verifies receipt, and stocks designated areas.
• Follows sanitation guidelines and completes related records.
