Job summary

WinCo Foods in Oregon is seeking a customer-focused associate to provide over-the-counter service in the Fresh Foods department, including Deli, Seafood and Pizza areas. You will prepare items, fry foods, rotate stock, and maintain clean, safe work areas to serve customers efficiently.

Flexible 5:00 am–10:00 pm shifts, lifting up to 50 lbs, and a Food Handlers Certification are required. Join a growing, employee-owned company delivering low prices and community service.

Qualifications

• Food Handlers Certification (Per State Laws)
• Must be 16 years of age or older
• Ability to work varied shifts, including nights, weekends and holidays
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods

Responsibilities

• Welcomes, engages, serves, and thanks customers with a friendly, enthusiastic demeanor.
• Takes orders, answers questions, and suggests additional items.
• Prepares, stocks, displays, and rotates product in Deli/Seafood/Pizza areas.
• Produces items according to recipes and food safety procedures.
• Maintains cleanliness and sanitation of the department and equipment.
• Inspects product quality and freshness; handles refrigerated goods appropriately.
• Receives inventory, verifies deliveries, and stocks designated areas.
• Follows sanitary guidelines and records as required.
