Responsibilities include high-quality product availability, safe handling, and assisting customers with bakery orders. This role emphasizes customer service, teamwork, and adapting to a dynamic store floor.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Food Handler Certification (Food Safety) - Certification is preferred

Responsibilities

• Be a Team Member: Maintains up-to-date knowledge of product specifications related to prepared food merchandise; collaborates with cross functional teams and educates other associates on tools, tasks and resources; communicates effectively with team members; and is flexible to business needs to work in other areas.
• Be an Expert: Prepares food according to item specifications; plans for future productions and mass productions; prepares for seasonality; adheres to food safety standards, sanitation guidelines, cold chain compliance, inventory management; operates, maintains, and sanitizes equipment; demonstrates understanding of product and layout execution.
• Be a Techie: Uses digital tools to drive sales, improve the shopping experience, and elevate associate engagement; uses handheld technology to make immediate business decisions related to production, training, and product quality with the member in mind; adapts to new tools and encourages others to use them.
• Be an Owner: Drives the performance of the area; manages digital tools; handles high exposure and expectations; stocks and rotates merchandise; ensures quality and date control; eliminates waste; guides peers and responds to customer needs; assists customers according to company policies.
