Job summary

Sam's West, Inc. is hiring a team member for our prepared foods and rotisserie chicken area. You will prepare fresh items, wrap and label merchandise, and assist customers with bakery orders while maintaining high quality and food safety standards.

You will also use handheld tools to support production, train peers, stock and rotate items, and ensure clean, organized displays. Competitive hourly pay and benefits are offered for full-time roles.

Qualifications

• Minimum qualifications: Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Preferred qualifications: Food Service Food Handler Certification (Food Safety) - Certification

Responsibilities

• Maintains knowledge of product specifications for prepared foods; collaborates with teams and educates others.
• Prepares food to specifications; plans for future productions; ensures food safety, sanitation, inventory, and equipment upkeep.
• Leverages digital tools and handheld tech to drive sales and assist production and training.
• Manages area performance, stock rotation, waste control, and customer service per policy.
• Advocates for the department, delivering high-quality service and product standards.
• Adheres to company policies, Open Door Policy, and business processes; communicates progress and adapts to change.
• Completes tasks with managers, coworkers, customers, and partners; meets deadlines and handles priorities and change.
