Job summary

Sam’s Club in Tucson, AZ is seeking a prepared foods associate to help members by preparing fresh items daily, wrapping and labeling merchandise, and keeping the rotisserie area clean and stocked. Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.

Responsibilities

• Be a Team Member: stay up-to-date on product specifications, collaborate with cross-functional teams, educate others, communicate effectively with team members, and adapt to the needs of the business.
• Be an Expert: prepare food according to item specifications, plan future productions, prepare for seasonality, follow food safety standards and sanitation guidelines, manage inventory and operate sanitation of equipment.
• Be a Techie: use digital tools to drive sales, enhance the shopping experience, and engage associates; use handheld devices for quick decisions and training.
• Be an Owner: drive area performance, manage stocking and dating controls, reduce waste, assist customers in line with policies.
• Be a Talent Ambassador: promote the department, deliver high-quality service and products, and show energy and passion for the work.
• Complies with company policies and ethics; uses Open Door Policy; applies in business processes and practices.
• Completes work assignments by following policies and data, coordinating with managers and customers, prioritizing tasks and deadlines, and adapting to change.
