Job summary

Sam's West, Inc. in Palm Desert, CA is hiring a Prepared Foods Associate for our Sam's Club. You will help prepare fresh foods, follow recipes, label and store merchandise, and assist members with bakery orders.

You will keep the sales floor clean, maintain temperature, check expiration dates, and ensure product quality. You will work in a team, learn product specs, use digital tools to assist production and inventory, and deliver great member service while adapting to change and busy shifts.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Food Service Food Handler Certification (Food Safety) - Certification

Responsibilities

• Ensuring high-quality products are available in prepared foods.
• Ensuring shelves are clean, maintaining temperature control, verifying expiration dates, and disposing of lesser-quality food products.
• Preparing and serving ready-to-eat food
• Maintains the Sales Floor in accordance with Company policies and procedures by properly handling claims and returns, zoning the area, arranging and organizing merchandise, and identifying shrink and damages.
• Maintaining a clean, sanitized, and member-ready area
