Job summary

Whole Foods Market is hiring for a Team Member responsible for food preparation across cold case, fresh pack, salad, and hot bars. You will follow recipes, label and rotate items, and maintain quality and presentation while providing courteous service to customers and Team Members.

You will also ensure sanitation, cleanliness, and adherence to health and safety standards, working with a team to meet store programs and initiatives.

Qualifications

• 6-12 months retail experience.
• Able to lift 50 pounds.
• Able to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Understanding of food safety and sanitation practices.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

• Prepares food items for the cold case, fresh pack, salad, and hot bars according to production sheets.
• Prepares items according to recipe to ensure quality and consistency.
• Labels, dates, covers, monitors quality and freshness, and rotates items.
• Monitors food levels and replenishes in a timely manner.
• Provides excellent customer service and answers phones promptly.
• Maintains cleanliness and sanitation; ensures proper equipment upkeep.
• Performs opening, mid, and closing duties; checks signs and pricing.
• Reports safety hazards and follows health and safety regulations.
