Job summary

Sam's West, Inc. is seeking a dependable team member for our Baton Rouge location to assist with prepared foods and rotisserie items.

You will help prepare ready-to-eat foods, wrap and label products, and ensure shelves stay clean and within safe temperature ranges to keep items fresh for members. You will collaborate with team members to educate others, leverage handheld tools for production decisions, and support customers with friendly, efficient service while adapting to changing tasks and

Qualifications

• Experience with fresh food merchandise is preferred.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Willing to complete all required trainings and assessments within a prescribed time period if hired.

Responsibilities

• Ensuring high-quality products are available in our prepared foods area.
• Ensuring shelves are clean, maintaining temperature control, verifying expiration dates, and disposing of lesser-quality food products.
• Preparing and serving ready‑to‑eat food.
• Maintains the Sales Floor in accordance with Company policies and procedures by properly handling claims and returns, zoning the area, arranging and organizing merchandise, and identifying shrink and damages.
• Maintaining a clean, sanitized, and member‑ready area.
