Job summary

Sam's Club in Lake Charles, LA is seeking a Team Member to support prepared foods and rotisserie chicken operations. You will follow recipes, wrap and label merchandise, maintain a clean, safe area, and help customers with bakery orders. Responsibilities include keeping shelves stocked, verifying dates, assisting with food service, and using digital tools to improve the shopping experience.

Must be 18+; Food Safety certification is preferred. Benefits include health coverage and PTO.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Food Handler Certification (Food Safety) - Certification (preferred)

Responsibilities

• Be a Team Member: Maintains up-to-date knowledge of product specifications related to prepared foods, collaborates with cross-functional teams, educates other associates on tools and tasks, communicates effectively, and adapts to business needs.
• Be an Expert: Prepares food according to item specifications, plans future productions, ensures food safety standards, sanitation, cold chain compliance, inventory management, operates and sanitizes equipment.
• Be a Techie: Uses digital tools to drive sales, enhances the shopping experience, and uses handheld tech for quick decisions and quality checks.
• Be an Owner: Drives area performance, stocks and rotates merchandise, ensures date control, reduces waste, assists customers following company policies.
• Be a Talent Ambassador: Advocates for the department and club experiences, delivers high-quality service and products, demonstrates energy and commitment.
