Job summary

Meijer is seeking a Food Clerk to deliver outstanding customer service in our Fresh departments. You will build connections with customers, share product knowledge, and maintain appealing displays while stocking and merchandising according to our standards.

Weekend and evening availability is a must, with opportunities to grow through Meijer Rewards programs and advancement tracks. You will contribute to a fast-paced, active store environment, helping customers find what they need and ensuring

Responsibilities

• Build positive connections with customers and teammates.
• Share product knowledge and help customers find what they need.
• Maintain full, fresh, and visually appealing product displays.
• Stock, rotate, and merchandise product according to standards.
• Use technology to complete tasks efficiently and accurately.
• Follow food safety, sanitation, and quality procedures.
• Work across departments including Meat, Seafood, Bakery, Deli, Produce and Grocery.
• Support other tasks as needed to keep operations running smoothly.
