Job summary

Meijer Inc. is seeking a Food Clerk to deliver friendly, knowledgeable service in our Fresh departments. You’ll engage with customers, share product information, and keep displays fresh and inviting to support a clean, well-run store.

You will work across departments, stock and rotate items, and use store technology to complete tasks accurately while following safety standards in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience is helpful, but not required.
• Able to learn and use job-specific technology.
• Comfort with fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Build positive connections with customers and teammates
• Share product knowledge and help customers find what they need
• Maintain full, fresh, and visually appealing product displays
• Stock, rotate, and merchandise product according to standards
• Use technology to complete tasks efficiently and accurately
• Follow food safety, sanitation, and quality procedures
• Work across departments including Meat, Seafood, Bakery, Deli, Produce and Grocery
• Support other tasks as needed to keep operations running smoothly
