Job summary

Meijer is seeking a Food Clerk to deliver friendly, knowledgeable service in our Fresh departments. You will engage customers, share product details, and ensure displays are clean, well-stocked, and compliant with safety standards.

This role emphasizes teamwork, efficient use of store technology, and a flexible approach to shifts in a fast-paced retail environment. Prior retail or food service experience is helpful but not required.

Responsibilities

• Build positive connections with customers and teammates.

• Maintain full, fresh, and visually appealing product displays.

• Use technology to complete tasks efficiently and accurately.
• Follow food safety, sanitation, and quality procedures.
• Work across departments including Meat, Seafood, Bakery, Deli, Produce and Grocery.
• Support other tasks as needed to keep operations running smoothly.
