Job summary

Meijer is seeking a friendly Food Clerk to deliver excellent customer service in our Fresh departments. You will share product knowledge, help customers find items, and ensure displays are full, fresh, and attractive while stocking and merchandising across Meat, Seafood, Bakery, Deli, Produce, and Grocery.

This role emphasizes using technology to complete daily tasks, adhering to food safety standards, and maintaining a positive store experience for every visitor.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience or aptitude
• Ability to maintain clean, attractive displays
• Ability to stock, rotate, and merchandise products
• Use of technology to complete tasks accurately
• Adherence to food safety and quality procedures
• Collaboration across departments (Meat, Seafood, Bakery, Deli, Produce, Grocery)
• Willingness to learn processes and safety standards

Responsibilities

• Build positive connections with customers and teammates

• Maintain full, fresh, and visually appealing product displays
• Stock, rotate, and merchandise product according to standards
