This is a part-time day cashier position at our Rohrerstown Fresh Foods, requiring flexible availability from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Sunday.

Responsibilities:

• Bags groceries.
• Collects cash, check, or charge payments from customers and makes change for cash transactions.
• Counts money in cash drawer at beginning and end of shift.
• Follows procedures for all register processes.
• Stocks grocery carts where applicable.
• Knows Fresh Foods and Home & Garden pricing procedures.
• Promotes store events following company procedures.
• Balances cash drawer by recording daily transactions.
• Records prices, departments, taxable items, and totals on the register.
• Reviews weekly sales flyers for advertised specials.
• May perform online shopper duties.
• Performs basic mathematical calculations.
• Lifts up to 30 lbs.
• Must be at least 16 years old.
