Job summary

WinCo Foods in Perris, CA, is hiring for an entry-level role in the Fresh Foods department. You will assist customers with over-the-counter service, prepare items in Deli/Seafood/Pizza, and stock inventory while maintaining cleanliness and food safety.

Typical shifts run 5:00 am–10:00 pm, with varied times across 6–8 hour blocks. You will perform duties with energy, friendliness, and a focus on customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Must be 16 years of age or older.
• Food Handlers Certification required.
• Ability to work varied shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to read and follow production guides and labels.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with over-the-counter service in Fresh Foods.
• Operate and maintain Deli/Seafood/Pizza areas and prepare ready-to-serve items.
• Receive inventory, stock designated areas and verify receipts.
• Ensure cleanliness and sanitary handling of products and equipment.
• Provide friendly, courteous service and support daily operations.
