Job summary

H-E-B is seeking a Production Specialist to provide fresh, in-store products with a focus on hot foods. You will prepare, package, and stock items while maintaining strict food safety and sanitation standards. You will support multiple cooking venues and assist with catering orders as needed.

You will ensure recipe accuracy, consistent quality, and timely production to meet customer demand, while delivering the best customer service and knowledge of menu items.

Qualifications

• Basic culinary knowledge and food prep experience.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Reading and writing skills; basic math for recipes.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, slice, and portion food according to recipes and SOPs.
• Maintain temperature control and sanitation standards in all prep areas.
• Stock, label, and rotate products; ensure accuracy of orders and presentation.
• Assist in multiple cooking venues and catering events as needed.
• Provide excellent customer service and knowledge about menu items.
