Job summary

Cut Fruit Express, Inc. is seeking a Fresh Food Production Associate for full-time work in a cold production environment (34°F–40°F). You will stand at a prep table, wash and trim fruits and vegetables, and pack products into bags and containers while keeping the area clean and following food safety rules.

Protective gear is provided and you will wear it over warm clothes. We value candidates with experience in food production or related fields, plus a solid work history and reliable attendance.

Qualifications

• Experience in food production or processing, kitchen or line cook, food prep, grocery produce or deli, production or assembly line, or packing and packaging.
• Strong work history and ability to stay with a role long-term.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality.
• Transportation reliability required.

Job description

Fresh Food Production Associate: $17/hour | Full-time | Monday-Friday, no weekends

This job is in a cold environment. The production area stays between 34°F and 40°F all shift, every shift, and you stand at a prep table for most of the day. You can dress warmly and will wear provided protective gear over your clothes.

What you'll do

• Wash, trim, cut, slice and dice fruits and vegetables
• Pack product into bags and containers
• Keep your work area clean and follow food safety rules

What to expect

• Refrigerated work area, 34°F-40°F, all shift
• Hairnet, gloves, sleeves and apron provided, worn over warm clothes
• Floors can be wet, so waterproof boots are a good idea
• Standing for full shift
• Lifting up to 20lbs

• Experience in at least one of these: food production or processing, kitchen or line cook, food prep, grocery produce or deli, production or assembly line, or packing and packaging
