Job summary

Manpower, Inc. seeks a Production Associate for a fresh produce and food distribution facility in Hartford. You will join the Production Department supporting Quality Control and Packaging, with a focus on accuracy and reliability.

No prior experience required; on-the-job training provided. This full-time, 1st-shift role runs Monday–Friday, 6:30 AM–5:00 PM, with overtime as needed. Opportunity to gain hands-on experience in food production and quality control.

Qualifications

• Able to work in a cooler environment (45–55°F).
• Steel-toe or composite-toe boots required on Day 1.
• Availability to work Monday–Friday, 6:30 AM–5:00 PM, with overtime as needed.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.
• Commitment to safety, sanitation, and food quality procedures.

• Grade tomatoes and other products for quality control.
• Repack products into smaller increments for customer orders and shipment.
• Assemble boxes, label packages, stack products, and prepare shipments.

As a Production Associate, you will be part of the Production Department supporting the Quality Control and Packaging Team. The ideal candidate will have attention to detail, reliability, and the ability to work independently, which will align successfully in the organization.

Location: Cooler Production Facility
Pay Range: $17.00/hour
