Love's Travel Stops is seeking a Fresh Food Coordinator to oversee the smooth operation of our fresh kitchens. You will help manage preparation, presentation, and quality of fresh food items while maintaining safety and sanitation standards.

• Assist Fresh Food Manager with daily tasks and safety protocols.
• Lead team to prepare and package fresh items to meet service standards.
• Manage inventory and place orders to keep stock fresh.
• Coordinate with suppliers and support waste reduction efforts.
• Assist in pricing, promotions, and ensure profitability of the deli.
• Lift 25+ pounds and work in varying temperatures.
• Cross-train in other departments as needed.

Job Functions

• Ensure a safe, clean, and well-maintained kitchen, along with adherence to proper food safety procedures
• Assist the Fresh Food Manager with proper task execution and completion while following effective safety practices
• Work with and coach the team to prepare and package fresh kitchen items in a timely manner to maximize customer service expectations and results
• Manage food inventory and ordering supplies to ensure stock is fresh and adequate
• Coordinate with suppliers and manage waste reduction efforts
• Assist in pricing, promotions, and ensure the deli meets profitability goals
• Ability to move, lift 25+ pounds. Ability to work in various temperatures
• Additional duties could include cross training in other departments such as Store Cashier, Restaurant Team Member, facility maintenance, and leadership roles.
