Job summary

Love's Travel Stops in Drayton, ND is seeking a Fresh Food Coordinator to oversee preparation, presentation, and quality of fresh items while upholding safety and sanitation standards. You will assist the Fresh Food Manager and coach the team to deliver excellent customer service.

You will manage inventory, place orders, support pricing and promotions, and help ensure profitability. This role requires lifting 25+ pounds and working in varied temperatures, with opportunities for growth within a

Responsibilities

• Ensure a safe, clean, and well-maintained kitchen, along with adherence to proper food safety procedures
• Assist the Fresh Food Manager with proper task execution and completion while following effective safety practices
• Work with and coach the team to prepare and package fresh kitchen items in a timely manner to maximize customer service expectations and results
• Manage food inventory and ordering supplies to ensure stock is fresh and adequate
• Coordinate with suppliers and manage waste reduction efforts
• Assist in pricing, promotions, and ensure the deli meets profitability goals
• Ability to move, lift 25+ pounds. Ability to work in various temperatures
• Additional duties could include cross training in other departments such as Store Cashier, Restaurant Team Member, facility maintenance, and leadership roles.
