Job summary

Meijer Great Lakes is seeking a Food Clerk to help create a fresh, welcoming store experience in our Fresh departments. You will build positive connections with customers, share product knowledge, and keep displays inviting and well stocked.

This role emphasizes teamwork, safety, and efficient service in a fast-paced environment. Previous retail or food service experience is helpful but not required; physical tasks such as lifting and standing are expected.

Responsibilities

• Maintain full, fresh, and visually appealing product displays.
• Stock, rotate, and merchandise product according to standards.
• Use technology to complete tasks efficiently and accurately.
• Follow food safety, sanitation, and quality procedures.
• Work across departments including Meat, Seafood, Bakery, Deli, Produce and Grocery.
• Support other tasks as needed to keep operations running smoothly.
