Job summary

Delaware Valley Floral Group (DVFG) is seeking a Receiving Associate to manage inbound fresh flower shipments in a refrigerated warehouse, ensuring accuracy, quality, and inventory control. This role participates in organizing storage locations and supports picking and sorting activities to maintain smooth operations.

The position is onsite with a 4x10 schedule (Fri–Mon, 12:00 AM–10:00 AM). Candidates should be able to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a temperature-controlled environment while

About the Role

The Receiving Associate is responsible for the accurate and efficient intake of fresh floral products within our warehouse operations. This role plays a critical part in maintaining inventory accuracy, product quality, and operational flow in a fast-paced, temperature-controlled environment.

What You’ll Do

• Receive, inspect, and process incoming fresh flower shipments to ensure accuracy and quality


• Accurately count, label, and enter products into inventory systems


• Organize and store products in designated warehouse locations to support efficient operations


• Investigate and resolve receiving discrepancies in collaboration with team members


• Support picking and sorting activities to ensure proper product selection and scanning


• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe receiving dock and cooler environment

Work Environment & Physical Requirements

This role requires working in a refrigerated warehouse environment (approximately 35–36°F) for extended periods. The position is physically active and involves standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and lifting throughout the shift. Candidates must be able to lift up to 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation.
