Schnucks is seeking a Deli Clerk to join our team in the deli department. You will provide friendly service, help customers, and prepare fresh sandwiches, salads, and party trays while maintaining high food safety standards.

You will operate slicers and scales, rotate products, and assist with display prep. A focus on teamwork, accuracy, and safety is essential for daily success in this role.

Qualifications

• Must provide friendly, courteous service to customers in person and on the phone.
• Basic math skills to translate pounds/ounces into decimals.
• Flexible schedule including nights, holidays, weekends.
• Hair restraint required (hair net or hat) and clean uniform with name tag.
• Use of cut gloves and safe knife handling.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate deli equipment safely.

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly and courteous service to customers, in person and on the phone.
• Maintain cleanliness of the work area, deli cases, and backroom following safety guidelines.
• Slice and weigh lunch meats and cheeses; offer thickness as requested by customers.
• Prepare sandwiches, salads, and party trays following company recipes.
• Rotate and date products for display and ensure freshness.
