Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old and have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Be dependable and reliable with a friendly, positive attitude.
• Excellent communication and ability to interact with customers.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Good teamwork and ability to take direction.
• Able to answer phones and take special orders.
• Able to lift/carry up to 70 lbs. and stand for long periods.
• Maintain clean, safe deli area and operate deli equipment safely.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with healthy food choices and prepare fresh meals.
• Ensure deli items are properly prepared, packaged, and presented.
• Maintain and rotate products and displays in the deli area.
• Prepare special orders and party trays.
• Operate deli equipment (slicers, ovens, etc.) following safety procedures.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitary conditions in the deli area.
• Receive, inspect, and log product shipments for quality and temperature.
