Job summary

Wegmans Produce is seeking a team member to help bring fresh, convenient options to life for customers. You’ll focus on preparing ready-to-enjoy fruits and vegetables—creating fresh-cut bowls, party trays, and grab-and-go items that make healthy eating easy.

You will cut, prep, package, and ensure high standards of quality and presentation, while keeping prep areas clean and organized and rotating stock for appealing displays. Wegmans emphasizes people-first culture with strong benefits.

Qualifications

• Experience working on a farm; collective customer service experience, internally and/or externally preferably in a food service, grocery or retail setting.
• Work environment includes medium to heavy physical demands, walking and standing, occasional heavy lifting, and exposure to allergens.
• Basic tools and equipment used in food processing environments.

Responsibilities

• Cut, prep, and package fresh fruits and vegetables for bowls, trays, and convenience items.
• Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure quality and freshness.
• Keep prep areas clean, organized, and efficient.
• Stock and rotate grab-and-go items to maintain full, appealing displays.
• Ensure all products meet Wegmans’ standards for quality and presentation.
