Job Title: Fresh Cut Clerk

Reports to: Produce Department Manager/Fresh Cut Manager

In this role, you'll ensure our guests have access to delicious, freshly cut fruit and veggie platters—perfect for daily life, get-togethers, or special occasions. Your ability to keep our fresh cut department stocked and ready will encourage guests to return, trusting us for their entertaining needs.

What You’ll Do

1. Maintain Freshness: Keep stock levels appropriate by observing sales floor and cooler conditions, producing, stocking, and replenishing products as needed.
2. Provide Exceptional Service: Deliver outstanding service, assist guests, resolve concerns, and ensure satisfaction.
3. Ensure Cleanliness: Organize and sanitize work areas, shelving, and sales floors.
4. Monitor Quality & Food Safety: Meet quality standards, maintain food safety logs, and meet quantity expectations by 10 am and 5 pm.
5. Honor Commitments: Maintain regular, timely attendance and notify in case of absences.
6. Support the Team: Perform other duties as assigned.

1. Strong Communication Skills: Effectively engage with guests and team members, work in a fast-paced environment.
2. Safety Awareness: Understand safety policies, proper lifting techniques, and equipment safety.
3. Equipment Proficiency: Use equipment like power jacks, lifts, and balers.

Physical Demands & Work Environment

Must be able to stand for long periods, work in coolers, lift up to 40 pounds, and perform repetitive tasks. Reasonable accommodations available for disabilities.

Work Schedule

Part-time or full-time, with opportunities to engage with guests and contribute to their retail experience.
