Job Title: Grocery Clerk I

Reports To: Center Store Department Manager

As a Grocery Clerk, your role involves stocking shelves to make grocery shopping easy and enjoyable for guests. You will keep shelves stocked, products fresh, and the store organized, ensuring guests find what they need quickly and easily. Your attention to detail and friendly service help create a welcoming atmosphere where guests feel valued. What You’ll Do:

• Provide Helpful Service: Offer excellent guest service, greeting guests, answering questions, and addressing concerns professionally and courteously.
• Stock & Display: Stock aisles, ensure products are fresh, properly rotated, and well-stocked.
• Offer Assistance: Help guests locate products and suggest alternatives when needed.
• Receiving & Inventory Support: Unload deliveries, organize stock, and maintain accurate inventory levels.
• Collaboration: Work with the Grocery Department Manager and team to meet goals.
• Clean & Organize: Keep the department clean, sanitized, and well-maintained.
• Problem-Solving: Address guest concerns professionally and promptly.
• Meet Goals: Ensure shelves are stocked by designated times.
• Honor Commitments: Maintain regular, timely attendance and provide notice for absences.
• Support the Team: Perform other duties as assigned.

What You Bring:

• A helpful attitude and commitment to excellent guest service.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Awareness of safety policies, including proper lifting techniques and equipment safety.
• Ability to operate equipment such as power jacks, forklifts, and other machinery (training provided).

Physical Demands and Work Environment

The physical demands include standing for long periods, working in coolers, bending, stooping, lifting up to 40 pounds occasionally, and performing repetitive tasks. Sensory abilities are required for monitoring the store and operating equipment. Reasonable accommodations are available for individuals with disabilities.

Work Schedule

This is a part-time position with a schedule that may include mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
