Mercier Consultancy Group is seeking a meticulous French-speaking Financial Crime Prevention Advisor for our Greece operations. You will monitor transactions, investigate high-risk accounts, and ensure AML/KYC compliance to safeguard banking institutions.
The role requires native French, banking or fraud prevention experience, and an EU passport. Relocation to Athens is provided, with a competitive salary, 13th/14th salaries, and comprehensive relocation/training benefits.
Qualifications
- Native or fluent French (spoken and written) mandatory.
- Experience in banking, financial compliance, or fraud prevention.
- Valid EU passport mandatory.
- Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication in French and English.
- Relocation to Athens to work in Greece.
Responsibilities
- Monitor banking transactions to detect financial crime patterns.
- Investigate high-risk accounts and report findings per regulations.
- Ensure AML and KYC compliance across processes.
- Collaborate with international banking teams to address security concerns.
- Document investigations for audits and compliance reporting.
- Stay updated on financial crime trends and regulations.
- Provide SME guidance on complex risk assessment scenarios.
