Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of 6 months experience with a mid- to large-size retailer.
• Schedule flexibility to work early mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Ability to organize, prioritize and delegate tasks within deadlines.
• Positive attitude and strong interaction with customers and associates.

Responsibilities

• Plan, unload, check in, and support merchandising of distribution shipments.
• Receive, verify, and merchandise all direct vendor shipments.
• Manage freight flow in the receiving area and maintain dock safety and order.
• Confirm accuracy of incoming merchandise and set up displays.
• Prepare outbound transfers of merchandise and fixtures.
• Direct the work of other associates handling freight flow.
• Act as Manager on Duty and perform opening/closing duties.
