Ollie’s Bargain Outlet in Hampton, NC is seeking a Retail Freight Team Leader to oversee receiving area operations, freight flow, and store logistics. You will partner with the store team to ensure accurate shipments and timely merchandising, while maintaining safety and standards.

This role requires ability to lead others, plan and prioritize tasks, and work flexible hours including early mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays. Equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 6 months experience with a mid- to large-size retailer.
• Schedule flexibility to work early mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Ability to organize, prioritize, and delegate tasks within strict timeframes.

Responsibilities

• Plan, unload, check in, and support the merchandising of distribution shipments.
• Receive, verify, and merchandise all direct vendor shipments.
• Manage effective freight flow in the receiving area while maintaining equipment and a safe, orderly dock.
• Adhere to company standards, verify accuracy of shipments and set up merchandise displays.
• Prepare and process outbound transfers of merchandise and fixtures.
• Direct the work of other Associates assisting with freight flow processes.
• Act as Manager on Duty and handle opening/closing duties as assigned.
