Job summary

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Operate locomotives and trains safely and efficiently.
• Monitor speed, brakes and gauges to ensure smooth operation.
• Relay train movements using signals, lanterns, or radio.
• Read and follow train orders, rules, and waybills.
• Prepare daily reports and switch lists; inspect equipment.
• Cross-train for other rail duties as needed.
