New York City's economic strength, vibrancy, and livability as a world-class city rely on complex logistics and supply chains supporting residents and businesses. Freight activity is essential for all New Yorkers, providing goods needed to support over 8.5 million residents, more than 4 million jobs, and 62 million tourists annually. Currently, nearly 90% of the City's goods are transported by truck, a shift from rail and water networks to highways in the latter half of the twentieth century. This dependency on trucks to meet increasing demand exacerbates traffic congestion, pollutes the air, stresses aging infrastructure, and impacts residential neighborhoods' quality of life. Join our team to reinvent freight transportation solutions and address these critical challenges.
