Job summary

Mobius Renewables is seeking a data-driven Trucking Logistics Engineer to design and optimize regional and national freight networks. You will evaluate lane profitability, identify cost-saving opportunities, and build predictive routing models using SQL, Python, and Excel.

Collaborate with fleet operations, safety, and dispatch to maximize asset utilization, ensure on-time delivery, and implement Lean Six Sigma improvements across terminal and cross-docking operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Operations Research, or a highly quantitative field.
• 3+ years of experience in transportation engineering, fleet logistics, or freight network analytics.
• Hazmat certification and/or experience
• High proficiency with leading TMS platforms and routing optimization tools.
• Advanced SQL querying and Python/R programming for data analysis, plus Excel skills.

Responsibilities

• Network Optimization: design and implement models to evaluate lane profitability and route patterns.
• Freight Data Analytics: extract, clean, and interpret large datasets to identify bottlenecks and fuel inefficiencies.
• Dashboard Development: build dashboards with Tableau or Power BI to visualize key metrics.
• Capacity Planning: forecast freight volumes and align assets with regional demand.
• Technology Integration: administer the corporate TMS and driver telematics hardware.
• Process Improvement: apply Lean Six Sigma to reduce waste in operations.
