Job summary

Uber Freight is seeking a Lead Logistics Engineer to design, analyze, and optimize freight networks at scale, partnering with Product, Operations, Data Science, and Leadership to improve efficiency, service, and profitability across the network.

You will leverage SQL, Python, Excel, and BI tools to produce actionable insights, dashboards, and repeatable analytical frameworks that drive measurable business impact in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in logistics or supply chain with network design.
• Advanced proficiency in SQL and Excel (complex formulas).
• Experience building dashboards and operational metrics in Tableau/Power BI.
• Familiarity with databases, ETL workflows, and large scale operational datasets.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and optimize freight routing, capacity utilization, and costs across complex networks.
• Develop repeatable analytical frameworks for ongoing network evaluation and performance monitoring.
