Job summary

The Freeman Company’s Event & Exhibit Services team seeks a Supervisor Freight Operations to manage dock labor and freight at show sites. You will plan labor, equipment, and timekeeping, and coordinate with customers, vendors, and internal teams to ensure efficient, safe operations.

Based in Las Vegas, NV, this in-person role combines office work with on-site show duties. You’ll lead a team, monitor safety, handle job costing, and drive service excellence while maintaining OSHA compliance and

Qualifications

• College degree preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 2+ years of industry-related experience preferred.
• 2+ years of supervisory experience preferred.
• Familiarity with show rules, regulations, and material handling rates.
• Experience with Freeman programs (Outlook, Word, and Excel).
• Ability to pass an MVR screen.
• Working knowledge of workplace safety practices and OSHA requirements.

Responsibilities

• Supervise dock labor at the show site and assign qualified personnel.
• Provide safety direction and lead regular safety meetings.
• Interact with the Facility Manager on site rules and regulations.
• Determine equipment and labor needs to produce each show.
• Oversee drivers and machine operators and related equipment.
• Communicate with decorating operations and the account executive on moves.
• Interact with customers to ensure quality standards and resolve issues.
• Prepare labor budgets and payroll forms; manage timekeeping records.
• Complete post-show recap and analyze job cost.
• Ensure equipment is returned to the warehouse and safety objectives met.
• Investigate accidents and implement corrective actions.
