Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, logistics, or related field.
• 10+ years in transportation, freight logistics, or supply chain management.
• 5+ years leading transportation, logistics, or supply chain teams.
• Experience managing transportation budgets, carrier negotiations, and large networks.
• Strong knowledge of procurement, routing, and freight network design.
• Expertise with Transportation Management Systems (TMS) and ERPs.
• Proficiency in Excel, SQL, Power BI, Tableau; able to analyze data to drive decisions.

Responsibilities

• Lead transportation strategies to optimize regional and national networks and costs.
• Oversee daily international logistics and trade compliance for smooth product flow.
• Lead annual transportation RFPs and contract negotiations with carriers and 3PLs.
• Build strategic carrier partnerships to support scalability and requirements.
• Develop routing guides to maximize contract compliance and minimize spot exposure.
• Establish carrier scorecards and review performance for service and cost.
• Manage the transportation budget and analyze spending, trends, and variance.
• Lead, mentor, and develop logistics analysts and coordinators.
