Job summary

Rolls-Royce in Minnesota seeks an Associate Freight Logistics Coordinator to support scheduling, coordination, and documentation of inbound and outbound shipments. You will track shipment status, maintain vendor records, and assist with process improvements to drive efficient logistics operations.

The role requires related degree or 4+ years of experience in logistics, with a focus on compliance and cross-functional communication.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or related field required.
Master’s degree in Business, Engineering, or related field preferred.
JD/PhD in Business, Engineering, or related field may substitute for degree.
In lieu of degree, 4+ years of experience in customer compliance and/or logistics.

Responsibilities

Assist with scheduling and coordinating shipments, including preparing basic documentation for inbound and outbound goods.
Track and update shipment status, notify relevant parties of delays, and help resolve routine transportation issues.
Maintain vendor and carrier records, including updating contracts, rates, and auditing billing details for accuracy.
Communicate with internal teams and external partners to provide shipment updates and support logistics meetings.
Support continuous improvement by following standard processes and assisting with import/export compliance as needed.
Ongoing analysis of industry and operational data providing continuous improvement opportunities.
