Job summary

Rolls-Royce in Minnesota is seeking an Associate Freight Logistics Coordinator to support scheduling, coordination and documentation of inbound and outbound shipments. You will track shipment status, maintain vendor records and assist with process improvements to ensure timely delivery of goods.

In this role you will work with internal teams and external partners, preparing basic documentation, updating contracts and rates, and supporting compliance with import/export requirements while

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in Business, Engineering, or related field + 2 years of experience in customer compliance and/or logistics.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or related field.
• Master’s degree in Business, Engineering, or related field.
• JD/PhD in Business, Engineering, or related field.
• In lieu of degree, 4+ years of experience in customer compliance and/or logistics.
• U.S. citizenship or work authorization without sponsorship required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with scheduling and coordinating shipments, including preparing basic documentation for inbound and outbound goods.
• Track and update shipment status, notify delays, and help resolve routine transportation issues.
• Maintain vendor and carrier records, including updating contracts, rates, and auditing billing details for accuracy.
• Communicate with internal teams and external partners to provide shipment updates and support logistics meetings.
• Support continuous improvement by following standard processes and assisting with import/export compliance as needed.
• Ongoing analysis of industry and operational data providing opportunities for improvement.
