Job summary

CrossCountry Freight Solutions is seeking a Freight Handler Lead in Eagan, MN. This role leads daily warehouse duties with a safety-first mindset, communicates effectively with the team and dispatch, and supports loading/unloading operations to ensure timely freight handling.

Qualified candidates will have 18+ years of age, ability to lift heavy freight, forklift experience preferred, and may have prior supervisory experience. Pre-employment assessment required.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Frequent lifting up to 50 pounds, occasional up to 90 pounds.
• Previous forklift experience is preferred.
• Previous supervisory or management experience is preferred.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Successful completion of a pre-employment skills assessment.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all team members are on time and ready for work.
• Inspect the dock for a clean, safe work environment.
• Coordinate dock operations with dispatch.
• Meet with Operations Supervisors for daily assignments.
• Assist with loading and unloading a wide variety of freight.
