Job summary

CrossCountry Freight Solutions is looking for a Freight Handler Lead that has a safety-first mindset and effective communications skills. Shift: Monday-Friday 2:30pm-10:30pm in Salt Lake City, UT, with a pay rate of $23/hr. You will report to the Operations Supervisor and help load/unload freight while maintaining

Qualifications

At least 18 years of age.
Must be able to frequently lift and/or move up to fifty pounds.
Must be able to occasionally lift and/or move up to ninety pounds.
Previous forklift experience – preferred.
Previous supervisory or management experience - preferred.
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

Ensure all team members are on time and ready for work.
Inspect the dock to make sure it is a clean and safe work environment.
Coordinate dock operations with dispatch.
Meet with Operations Supervisors for daily assignments.
Assist with loading and unloading a wide variety of freight.
