Bray Controls in Northwest Houston, TX, is seeking a Freight Handler/Forklift Operator to perform pre-shift equipment checks, complete daily material checklists, and process cargo listings on the dock.

The role requires forklift operation, labeling and staging freight, and basic computer transactions. Shifts run Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM–5:00 PM, with potential overtime on Saturdays. A strong work ethic and multitasking ability are essential.

Formación

• High School Diploma, GED, or 5+ years of relevant experience.
• 2+ years' experience in warehouse/materials handling, forklift operation, and shipping/receiving.
• Proficient with MS Office: Outlook, Excel, Access, etc.
• Ability to multi-task, solve problems, stay organized and detail oriented.
• Willingness to work overtime; immigration sponsorship not offered.

Bray Controls, a subsidiary of Bray International, Inc., is currently seeking a Freight Handler/Forklift Operator for a position at our facility in Northwest Houston, Texas. The Freight Handler will perform pre-shift checks of equipment and perform daily material checklist and turn in requisitions. He or she will also perform daily list of all cargo still on the dock.

Additional Responsibilities Include

• Labeling and staging freight for all carriers and loading and unloading trucks.
• Making transactions in the computer system
• Maintain neat, clean and orderly shipping area
• Will be required to operate various pieces of equipment to include forklifts and packaging equipment
• Perform other duties as required by management.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or 5+ years of relevant experience
• 2+ years' experience performing warehouse and materials handling, inventory management, forklift/power equipment operation, and shipping/receiving duties.
• Experienced with standard functions within MS Office applications such as: MS Outlook, Excel, Access, etc. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to multi-task, problem solve and remain highly organized and detail oriented
• Possess strong work ethic.
• Available to work overtime hours when needed.
• Immigration sponsorship not offered for this position.

Shift

Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM-5:00 PM. Additional overtime may be required. Shifts typically range from 8-12 hours, with potential overtime on Saturdays.
