Job summary

Blue Water Shipping is seeking a results-driven logistics professional in Miami to manage Air, Ocean, and Domestic operations. The role involves maintaining the customer portfolio, participating in procurement when appropriate, and ensuring clear communication with clients and vendors.

You will collaborate with multiple departments to ensure smooth operations, handle bookings across global routes, and support documentation like shipping instructions and SEDs.

Qualifications

• Strong customer service focus and relationship building with clients and vendors.
• Knowledge of export for Air, Ocean, Drayage, Domestic shipments.
• Familiarity with different steamship lines and related documentation.

Responsibilities

• Handle operations across Air, Ocean, and Domestic as assigned.
• Maintain customer portfolio commercially and assist in procurement when needed.
• Communicate effectively with clients, vendors, and internal teams.
• Book and dispatch Ocean shipments globally, including Dry & Reefer.

Position Summary

Handle operations Air, Ocean, Domestic as assigned by department manager

Maintain the customer portfolio commercially and participate in procurement on occasion as well.

Maintain a strong line of communication with clients and vendors.

Work closely with other departments for smooth operations

Key Responsibilities And Tasks

• Strong Customer service
• Knowledge in Export for Air, Ocean, Drayage , Domestic
• Familiar with different steamship lines
• Create Bookings Ocean - all parts of the world Dry & Reefer
• Book & Dispatch Domestic loads & to Canada
• Knowledge of the WMS System Magaya ( a plus, willing to train )
• Documentation: Shipping Instructions, SED, Bonds
• Maintain communication with customers and build good relationship between agent, overseas partners, customers, vendors, etc
• Works well in group / team setting
• Can work under pressure and understand how to work in order of priority
