Job summary

20 Saia Motor Freight Line LLC is seeking a warehouse associate to load and unload trailers, operate forklifts and pallet jacks, and ensure shipments are secure and compliant. You will read labels, verify freight, and document shortages or damages while maintaining a strong safety standard.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, legal authorization to work in the United States, and the ability to communicate in English. Shifts may include nights and weekends, with competitive hourly pay.

Qualifications

• Read, write, communicate and comprehend English to perform shipping tasks, read instructions, and complete records.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload trailers using forklifts, pallet jacks, and related equipment.
• Operate dock tools to secure freight and maintain straps, bars, and dunnage.
• Load, recoup, rewrap, and stack freight as needed.
• Verify shipments by reading labels and securing freight for loading/unloading.
• Follow bill of lading and quality control procedures for timely, cost-effective shipments.
• Log, report, and process shortages and damages to freight.
• Promote and maintain a safe and clean work environment.
