Job summary

Saia is seeking a Warehouse/Dock Associate to load and unload freight using forklifts, pallet jacks, and other equipment in compliance with regulations. You will verify shipments, secure loads and maintain a safe workplace.

The role may require nights, weekends, or holidays based on operational needs. Minimum qualifications include being at least 18 with a HS diploma or GED and authorized to work in the United States.

• Ability to read, write, communicate and comprehend English.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in verifying shipments.

Responsibilities

• Loads and unloads freight using forklifts and pallet jacks in compliance with regulations.
• Verifies shipments by reading labels and securing freight for loading/unloading.
• Maintains a safe and clean work environment and reports shortages or damages.
• Keeps equipment in good working order and adheres to safety procedures.
