Job summary

Paylocity is seeking a Cross-Dock Mix Freight Worker in Garland, TX to safely move packages and materials in the facility. You will sort freight, assist with inbound/outbound loads, and secure shipments for transit on a day shift.

Requirements include 1-2 years related experience, familiarity with shipping practices, and the ability to read/write English. High school diploma or GED required; strong attention to detail and safety compliance are essential.

Reports To: Dock Supervisor

FLSA Status: Non-Exempt

Job Purpose Carefully move packages and material around our facilities.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Other duties and responsibilities may be assigned.

1. Safely sort mixed and floor freight creating accurate loads for outbound trailers while keeping a good count of the goods and paying attention to detail. 2. Performs required administrative tasks, for inbound unloading and outbound loading.

3. Identify damages and report shortages or quality deficiencies.

4. Comply with company policies and legal guidelines.

5. Help maintain a safe and orderly environment in the facilities.

6. Secure freight for transit.

7. Being able to operate air compressor for airbag usage.
